MOTOEXPERT Appraiser Oath
The MOTOEXPERT Appraiser Oath is a professional declaration of reliability, impartiality, technical independence and compliance with the association Code of Honour. It confirms that the appraiser accepts the MOTOEXPERT standard as a binding professional conduct framework.
Purpose of the oath
The oath is intended to strengthen professional responsibility and trust in the MOTOEXPERT appraiser system. It does not replace national rules, court procedures or insurance decisions. It defines the professional commitment expected from a MOTOEXPERT appraiser within the association framework.
Oath text
I solemnly declare that I will perform automotive appraisal work reliably, impartially, independently and according to documented technical facts. I will not adapt technical findings to the expectations of any party. I will separate technical assessment from legal, insurance and financial decisions. I will protect confidential information, personal data and documents obtained in connection with my work. I will use the MOTOEXPERT name, appraiser status and certificate only in accordance with my current association status and certified scope. I will maintain my professional competence through continuous training and will comply with the MOTOEXPERT Code of Honour, association rules and quality standards.
What the oath confirms
The oath confirms the core obligations expected from a MOTOEXPERT appraiser.
Work based on technical facts
The appraiser accepts that technical findings must be documented, traceable and reviewable.
No result-oriented appraisal
The appraiser does not adapt findings to a desired result or the interest of one party.

The appraiser protects personal data, photos, VIN numbers, registration data and case documents.
Work within competence
The appraiser accepts assignments only within their qualification, equipment and certified appraisal scope.
Correct use of MOTOEXPERT status
The appraiser uses the MOTOEXPERT name and certificate only while status is valid and active.
Maintaining competence
The appraiser accepts continuous development and recertification as part of the MOTOEXPERT system.
Association record
The oath may be documented in the association file of the appraiser. MOTOEXPERT may require renewed confirmation of the oath during admission, certification, recertification, status update or disciplinary review.
