Structured technical documentation framework

MOTOEXPERT Guidelines and Documents

The MOTOEXPERT document framework supports consistent, clear and technically traceable appraisal work. Documents should be structured, readable, anonymised where required and suitable for quality review.

MOTOEXPERT may request different document groups depending on the stage of review.

Professional liability documents

Confirmation of active professional liability insurance for appraisal activities.

Training

CPD records

Training certificates, hours, topics and evidence of continued competence.

Technical tools

System and infrastructure proof

Association

Oath and declarations

Signed declarations, Code of Honour acceptance and status-related documents.

Document quality rules

Documents should be easy to review and clearly assigned to the application.

01

Use PDF format

Documents should be submitted as readable PDF files unless MOTOEXPERT requests otherwise.

02

Name files clearly

File names should identify candidate, document type, country and year where possible.

03

Anonymise sample work

Sample appraisals should not contain third-party personal data unless specifically requested.

04

Keep order

Documents should be submitted in a structured order matching the checklist.

05

Avoid random attachments

Unlabelled photos, mixed files and unrelated documents delay review.

06

Provide updates when requested

MOTOEXPERT may request corrected, updated or additional documents.
